this is one day b4 release of A levels result...
its judgement day tmr... and i do not know what to feel.
There is this spirit of anxiety over me and im really not sure what i will get.
I dreamt of getting bad reuslts twice. I pray it's not true.

It's confirmed!
6th march will be the day we are getting back our A levels result. That is one more week.
Frankly speaking i'm not very optimistic about it. All i wish for now is that i can enter a local uni and get a good course with my results.
I hate this man! The feeling of helplessness. I don't like the feeling of being a situation whereby you can do nothing much about it.
Argghhhhh...

On a brighter note, I've got a good break from work last week.
Went out almost everyday from monday to sunday. Hahah that really meant that i did not fulfill my initial plan of staying at home.

And Afluence to Influence conference was really powerful.
I like it because everything i learnt just convinced me on how lucky i am. Many people out there would gladly exchange their lives for mine.
Now i really want to treasure my life and live to help others who may not be as fortunate as myself...
To live for a greater cause yet have a sustainable idealism.
To do well and do good at the same time.

For I was hungry and you gave me food;

One months and 7 more days to my enlistment. I'm excited!
And i am convicted to prepare myself for this new phrase of my life.

heyys,

life is very much settled for me right now, basically i go to work on weekdays and go church on the weekends. Things are now getting into a routinal basis and i think it is great to be in this state. At least i will wake up every morning knowing what to do and what to look forward to.
Seems like it will like this all the way till april.

In the meantime...
1. Powerhouse morning prayer meetings this week. I want to go but not sure whether i can wake up in time for this.
2. A levels results!!!!!! This one is scary! The most recent news is that it will be out on 13th march: Source unreliable but it should be around tht time based on last year.
The more i think about it, the less confidence i have that i will do well.
Oh wells, this is out of my control so i shall keep praying.

budget is around 400 dollars. Im going to invest in a good guitar so that i don' have to change guitar every 1-2 years like what i am going through now.
Talking about guitar, im learning fall out boys's songs now. hehe. They are good! i like their style of music.
Fall out boys concert on 12th feb! i hope they can throw a guitar down to the congregation. then i shall be the one to catch it.
haha but actually im not going because nobody wants to go.
Jason Mraz concert on 5th march. But im not going because it is too ex and tix are sold out.
Redrain concert is free. Anyone wants to go? i heard it's a very good band haha.

hahaha life is great. I have my work to look forward/dread about everyday.
Usually nobody visits thomson plaza in the afternoon except for one or two maids or students, so i just stone at the counter for 3-4 hours.
Feels good knowing that im being productive and earning money. haha.

So many things to blog about and i dunno where to start from.
Firstly congrats to all those who came out from BMT. Nicholas Elgin Elias Yamhuo Wade Dennis Albert.
Seeing them botak made me feel so left out. haha they are people whom i hang out a lot with last time, now they are all experiencing army life but im not.
They are going in on the 2rd day of CNY.
Melvin is going in on the 3rd.

Nevertheless, this weekend was packed with activities end-to-end and i trully enjoyed the company with my friends.
Dinner with nicholas on friday.
Stayover at Melvin's house on friday night.
Reunion lunch with class on saturday noon.
Reunion barbeque with CG on saturday night.
Reunion dinner with family on sunday.

Of cos i've spent a lot of money too. After CG barbeque we went to watch 'LOve Matters'. The show was funny but compared to other Jack Neo's films it wasn't up to the standard.
Perhaps its the malaysian actors who spoil the film. haha.

After that we went to play LAN at paradiz. Im not a LAN person but i wanted to play 'Left for Dead' so much i couldn't resist the temptation. Spent the whole morning (2 to 7am) in the LAN shop playing Counter Strike and Left for Dead.
Left for Dead is about killing zombies.The purpose of the game is for you to kill all the zombies that come after you (and your friends).
SO EXCITING! Shall play it again next time.

Anyway, I have been repeating "What Sarah Said" by DCFC on my ipod for 3 days.The tune is stuck in my head.
This song is so addictive. The more you listen to it, the more emotionally dependent you will be.

Woohoo! I've found a job at thomson plaza.
I am now working as a assistant in Bata, with a meagre pay of only 4.50/hr.
Sigh! I have no choices left.
Guess i will settle for this one.
Haha, so don't ask me for any treat okay? I will still be poor even with a job.
Seems like i will be poor for a lifetime. haha sucks.

Just came back from soccer outing with Ivan and Co.
Soccer was fun!

Anw! 9 more months to my birthday. So everybody please get ready haha.

I did a little test. If there was rain today, i will dye my hair.
But in the end i forgot all about it. So im not sure whether there is rain.

Nevertheless, i had an exciting day.
First i went Penisula Plaza/shopping centre with Kianleng in the afternoon to look at guitars.
There's one guitar offer selling at 99 dollars, which is so much cheaper than its original price of 268. If i have money i dun mind buying that guitar. haha. If i have the money.
Then we tried playing electric guitar in the shop. In the end we dun dare to play anything. In case everyone in the shop hear our lousy guitar skills.
But it was really fun! Especially when you are playing it for the first time after watching ppl play on stage for 3plus years.
We spent around 30 plus minutes in tht shop. HAHA the uncle there was super nice not to chase us away, instead he gave us his namecard.

After that i went pearl centre for my job interview as a tuition agent. Spent 30 plus minutes in Outram Park finding Pearl Centre (???). Probably only my ahma know where it is.
yea. And the job looks good. You basically give out flyers, and help parents find private tutors for their kids.
So nxt time if you receive a flyer promoting tuition. And the name is Melvin (my fake christian name), it could very well be me! hahs
Anyone interested in tuition so that you can help me earn money so that your grades can be better? Feel free to give me a call haha.

But actually, the more i think of it, the more i feel that this job is unreliable.
If you were a parent, would you find tuition for your son thru flyers that you received in your mailbox? Like totally no...I would ask around for recommendations of good tutors in singapore and not rely on agents.
Sucks la.
Thats why im still finding a job for the 54356585675723 + 1 time.
Father I pray that by your grace I can get a decent job soon.

Then i went church for Usher Clean-up. Clean chairs and do stock check.
Lastly, i went for Reception Ministry training. Hahah and we played this game whereby we are suppose to write 3 names and stick on another person's back. So what we need to do is to ask people to give hints on who he/she is and guess tht person as quickly as possible.
What I got behind my back was Pastor How, Yassy and Lee Kuanyew. SIMPLE!
Joshua got Coco Chanel, Bobbi Brown and Yries St Lauren!!!!! I dun even recognise any of them lols.
It was fun.

But after that we moved on to the serious part about training. Like all the procedures and stuff.
I use to think that doing recept is so easy because you just sit at the counter and stone. But there is so many things to do.
All the little things like doing stock checks, cleaning the dark corners around the table are so important.
Even though people are not going to notice the tiny speck of dust lying in the corner. We still gotta clean it up regularly with the spirit of Excellence.
Never know that a training session would inspire me so much.
Perhaps this is the what worship is all about. The heart to serve!
Im gonna serve with EXCELLENCE.
Yayness. and tmr will be my first reception duty. Exciting.

1. Still no success in finding a job.
2. Everyone who is close to me is in tekong.
3. Those who are not in Tekong are either working or schooling.
4. I have no more money left.

haha. I miss school. I wish i could be a J1 or J2 again!!!!!!
Meanwhile i shall apply for a job again for the 348543572627356 time.
And im going to learn drums haha, and improve on my guitar. 2009 will be a year of breakthroughs.
Yea. Also, this is the year im going to finish my BRP and finish the Old testiments. Have you done your BRP? haha.

Heard all the Police stories from Sahai. Oh my, being a police is so exciting and funny. (and slack)
Ever wonder what our police(s) are doing in Changi Airport?
They check flight for 1 minute, sleep for 4 hours, eat lunch, sleep for another 5 hours, eat dinner and go home.
I wonder if its appropriate to write this down on livejournal. But heck la.
Im excited!!!
